Cookie policy
What this website stores on your device, what it does not, and how you stay in control.
No advertising. No tracking cookies.
- This website sets no cookies of its own.
- It saves two settings on your device, and only when you press the button that asks for them.
- An optional feedback widget, provided from www.naushad.co.uk, counts page views without cookies and stores a little on your device only when you use it.
- We do not use advertising cookies, social media pixels or cross-site tracking.

Every item, and why.
These are saved in your browser’s local storage, which works like a cookie but is not sent to a server with each page request. Nothing is set when you only read the site.
| Name | What it does | When it is set | How long | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
immune-theme | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. | Only when you press the theme button. | Until you clear your browser data. | Us, in local storage. |
immune-motion | Remembers that you paused or resumed the animations. | Only when you press Pause or Play. | Until you clear your browser data. | Us, in local storage. |
qh-react:<page> | Remembers the star rating you gave a page in the feedback widget. | Only when you give a rating. | Until you clear your browser data. | The feedback widget, in local storage. |
qh-sticky-pos | Remembers where you moved the feedback widget on the page. | Only when you move it. | Until you clear your browser data. | The feedback widget, in local storage. |
The theme and animation settings are saved because you asked for them, so they do not need a consent banner. If you do nothing, the site follows your device’s light or dark setting and stores nothing.
A page-view signal, without cookies.
The feedback widget is loaded from www.naushad.co.uk, a separate website that provides this feedback service. When a page loads, the widget sends that website a small signal so we can count visits. The signal contains:
- the page you are on, and the page you came from;
- your approximate location, such as your city, never a street or a house;
- your browser and device type;
- your IP address, which is stored with the page-view record; and
- a visitor code made from your IP address and browser details that changes every day, so visits can be counted without following you from one day to the next.
IP addresses are shortened after 90 days: for an IPv4 address the last two parts are removed. Individual page-view records are deleted after 365 days, and only anonymous daily totals are kept. Our hosting platform may also keep standard access and security logs, including IP addresses, under its own policies.
If you use the widget
If you rate a page, ask a question or share it through the widget, your message is sent with your approximate location and device type. IP addresses sent with feedback are shortened after 90 days. Please do not include passwords or client names.
